Twitter: Another Phishing Attack

by Mark Clayson

I was affected by the Twitter phising scam a few weeks ago and now the same thing has happened again. Recently I have had 30 or more DMs in my inbox from allegedly genuine users stating “This you??” and then giving a link to follow.

DO NOT FOLLOW THE LINK – it leads you to a login page that LOOKS genuinely from twitter but as soon as you enter the info – THEY (the bad guys) have your details. They will have your username and password, and guess what – they are not going to keep them safe.

Change your twitter password – a good idea even if you don’t think you are a victim.
