A woman in Florida has been one of the first to plan a lawsuit against Google because of the invasion of privacy Buzz has allegedly caused. PC World reports that Eva Hibnik has filed a suit on behalf of approximately 31 million people. By doing what it did “”Google Buzz made private data belonging to Gmail users publicly available without the users’ knowledge or authorization.”
Google admits there were / are issues and is working on modifications to change the way it integrates in Gmail. Indeed, changes have already been made. But the lawsuit continues because, even with modifications, invasion of privacy has already occured.
