What’s In a Mile?

by admin on February 7, 2010

A lot has been said about blogging. Hell, I have gone on about it myself long enough to the angst of my son who still thinks of a blog as a chronological diary of personal events and family photos.

I have yet to convince individuals about the virtue of blogging, but, give me a room of 400 people and I would be able to convert 90% of them.

Blogging is powerful. Period. I have several blogs myself and each of them do something the others don’t. My ecommerce blogs sell goods (aka stores), my membership blogs create a private group of paying clients and my day-to-day blogs tell visitors what’s on my mind or gives them useful information or links.

The one beauty of a blog is that it can be updated remotely. I no longer have to be tied to my computer to make a post. I can reliably update my real estate via other methods. In the case of this particular post that you are reading now, I am writing whilst sitting on my car via my trusty iPhone.

I cannot think of anything simpler (other than outsourcing, which I also do). It removes almost every excuse for not being part of the blogging movement.
